The L Word is one of those shows where my brain can’t compute the actors playing other roles which I guess by default means House of 1000 Corpses is canonically lesbian cinema.

You Won't Be Alone 2022
Incredibly touching and full of heart. I went in expecting A24 knockoff folk horror but I got a beautiful, nuanced discussion of gender, community, generational grief, and moving on. I loved, loved, loved this movie and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Child's Play 3 1991
My favorite thing about this era of horror is that everything is shot, directed, lit, and even soundtracked like a X-Files episode. This was obviously a step down from the first two but there’s something about battle damage Chucky in the last act that I can’t help but enjoy.
