Gary Hollingsbee’s review published on Letterboxd:
I remember being allowed to stay up to watch The Omen as a child when it was first broadcast on TV. Watching it again decades later is a real treat. It’s nearly 50 years old but still stands up as an occult thriller. What I like most about the movie is the pace: once the first horrific incident occurs, it’s a non-stop pounding race against satanic forces that bravely ends in tragedy. I had no idea this was directed by Richard Donner.
