This type of movies always makes me feel uncomfortable and see what the real monster could be.
Based on a real case, it explained the story about how Fran fell in love with this horrendous guy. He forbids her the idea to go to school, find a job, visit her family, all ,just to be a baby machine. With the big excuse of going to church and stopping to drink he ended up hitting her most of the time they were together. Really I felt pissed off the whole movie.
Amazed by the ending. I loved it.

    Worst Roommate Ever

I just watched this because the first episode was about the story of Dorothea Puente. A seriarl killer that used to dress older than she was, to pretend to be the "good grandma". She opened a guesthouse and killed people to get the insurance payment. A case that I heard about it long time ago.

    Class of 1984

Class of 1984 is the closest thing to a Clockwork Orange 80s version and I love that movie.
I love revenge movies and this one is absolutely a gem.
With a realistic touch with the real world, I hated those kids the whole movie, I was even feeling tense πŸ₯΄.
It was a pleasure waiting for the revenge in the last 20 minutes.
The complete movie is great, no doubt about it.
Where I was that I missed this movie all these years πŸ˜‚.
    Loved the sound track too.

    You'll Like My Mother

This movie has a little touch of Rosemary's Baby. Maybe it's the atmosphere, but just thinking that Francesca must obey to give a birth in the mother's house and find out that her baby is "dead". And the supposed "mother in law" taking care of her. She needs to run away and find a way to get out of the house.
It's kinda a slow movie but it has good moments.
I'm pretty sure the director who made Hush (1998) with Jessica Lange as the main character got inspired by this. It's almost the same story.
