I felt at home watching cannibalism with a touch of Evil Dead, especially when you see chickens and pigs being killed... and branches attacking people. 👀
The practical effects in this movie are really good.
Overall, the atmosphere was creepy, but the plot... I felt like something was missing; With some scenes I couldn't understand well because they were part of a hallucination.
However, I don't feel like I wasted my time, as I usually do with those new releases.👀
I honestly don't know where this film fits. It's not horror or comedy; maybe experimental? 👀
I loved seeing Joaquin Phoenix in this role. He's like this little boy in a grown-up body going through one bad thing after another.
From what I saw, this character had hypochondria, so his anxiety was making it worse.
At some point, I thought about 'Mother' by Aronofsky. 😳
Class of 1984 is the closest thing to a Clockwork Orange 80s version and I love that movie.
I love revenge movies and this one is absolutely a gem.
With a realistic touch with the real world, I hated those kids the whole movie, I was even feeling tense 🥴.
It was a pleasure waiting for the revenge in the last 20 minutes.
The complete movie is great, no doubt about it.
Where I was that I missed this movie all these years 😂.
Loved the sound track too.
A weird kid, blood and slow zombies - all that makes Burial Ground something very epic. This is a very weird gem.
I literally laughed out loud with a few scenes.
It's not really a great story but it's so sleazy and the zombies, once they appear, they will never go.
I fucking loved this.
