I don’t think I’ve ever identified more with a main female (or presumed female at birth) character in a film. A lonely rebellious gal trying to find her tribe while also surviving the horrors of a dysfunctional home, poverty, and generational trauma. Very punk rock and raw. A must-see for the alternative and/or queer femmes. Seriously wondering why I didn’t know about this movie before. It feels like a missing puzzle piece in my life.

Santo in the Treasure of Dracula 1969
Still not quite sure what I watched, but there was wrestling, vampires, and lots of tiddies. Would be great to watch with a bunch of friends or at a party. I need to watch more of these luchador horror films.

Over the Edge 1979
It’s interesting seeing a “juvenile delinquent” film with age appropriately casted actors. A capsule of being a teen with a lot of unsupervised time, adventures, and rebellion. Loved all the kid actors, the music, and realistic feel of the late 70’s time period.
