Let me preface this by saying that Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (1991) is not only my favourite Disney film, but quite possibly my favourite film. I’m a sucker for love stories, and, until Tangled (2010) came along, for me there was no animated film that better portrayed someone sacrificing their own happiness for the person they loved.
