Llopezoda’s review published on Letterboxd:
Most of the segments in the movie are averaged at best. The positive is that each segment felt different, that also means there is some lose connections between the stories.
The best segments were Deprived and Cloud. Deprive has strong writing, the segment also has a character that is not redeemable. The only negative about this story is that it tries to end in a happy note, ignoring everything that came before. Cloud is also fantastic, it tries to explore themes of life, growing up, and change. It does it an an abstract way, which leaves room for interpretation.
Overall, as a whole, excluding the two segments mention above, Robot Carnival is an average movie.
