1000th logged film!
Kurosawa's direction and staging is impeccable as always in what is easily his most ambitious work that I have seen.
The performances from the cast, whether vocal or physical lend themselves well to the film, and most of the cast have really really well-established and satisfying character arcs.
As with most of his works, Kurosawa explores humanity in his characters, and how depending on circumstances anyone can be a hero.
All in all, wonderful film that really lived up to the hype for me.
