-Betty Gilpin just made me a fan
I don't see a lot of people liking The Hunt but when it comes to me, I had a fuckin' incredible time with it, and I honestly thought that wouldn't be the case. I absolutely loved the dark humor throughout the movie. I laughed way too much at the dumb shit that was occurring. There are sociopolitical factors that may trigger some peeps but I suppose that is to be expected. I guess take it how you want to take it; you wont see any judging from me. The only factors I cared about the most were the action, gore, and humor. My only problems were some pacing issues and not seeing enough Hilary Swank. That's a crime if you ask me.
Another main reason why I rate this so high is because of how phenomenal Betty Gilpin was. She made this movie so much more entertaining for me. Loved her acting, the way she kicked ass, her silly facial expressions, and just being an all-around badass.
I have a feeling if it wasn't for her, I would have easily rated this a 3 star film instead.
Thanks Betty Gilpin and Hilary Swank for making my Birthday amazing!🍺
