The perfect comfort film. Damien Chazelle really made one of the most magnificently grand films ever and at the same time creates moments that are truly touching and sincere. He masters tone and cinematography here like I've never seen before. Honestly I think just about everything about this is perfect. Not often does something this original come out with a perfect director, cast, and script. La La Land is Truly special and I believe what the peak of modern film can be. When they say film is an art they're talking about La La Land.

This movie is beautiful. I think it means more to me coming from a divorced house hold but honestly even on a technical level this is stunning. Perfectly shot, edited, and the score by Newman is touching. Adam driver is unbelievably fantastic and every scene he’s in broke my heart a little more. Scarlet brings her best performance as well adding a amazing foil to Charlie. The thing that sets this movie apart is that no one is perfect…
