1984 Ralph Macchio is now and forever the man of my dreams. Also the most 80s, 80s movie

Swing Time 1936
I don't even like dancing that much but this film was great. Except for the blackface

Unpregnant 2020
Dude, please more films centred around female friendships (bonus points for LGBTQ+ leads)!! It started with Lady Bird and then Booksmart and now Unpregnant, and I couldn't be happier. Basking in the warmth of the pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ+ narrative and Haley Lu Richardson and Barbie Ferreiras' acting. I'm so glad that stories about women written by women for women are making it into the mainstream. I am living, laughing and loving it.

Marie Antoinette 2006
A delicate film more focussed on capturing the loneliness and suffocation of being a young woman in power than historical accuracy and fact. The performances, cinematography and music all fit the film perfectly and add to the overall feeling and experience of the film beautifully. An amazing film, Coppola out did herself with this one.

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping 2016
Easy to digest and funny enough to engage with. The celebrity cameos were nuts. Also,, if it’s not too much trouble,,,let me see that donkey roll

A Trip to the Moon 1902
This movie is over 100 years old and still has better special effects than the Kissing Booth 2 (2020)
-
The Squid and the Whale 2005
Really really unlikeable people with a really really likeable story. Also Jesse Eisenberg

Unbelievable 2019
Such a difficult but worthwhile watch. It becomes even sadder and more frustrating when you find out it's based on a true story. Incredible performances from everyone in this one and a big hug to all their real life counter-parts

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) 2020
