Coded Bias 2020
this movie is 100% an op. these people are controlled opposition. the problem isn't that facial recognition is more effective on white men; it's that it exists at all. we don't need to "improve" it, we need to get rid of it. there were a few points where it seemed like maybe the main people in the movie were on the brink of understanding that, but they're all giant nerds who have never considered ethics before and focus too much on hinting at how they were once gifted kids in elementary school. absolutely insufferable, with some sinophobia thrown in because why not.

The Green Knight 2021
it’s both faithful to the surreal, episodic narrative styles of medieval tales while also being strikingly modern and original. a beautiful lush world to get lost in. a dense mystery to untangle. a feast for the eyes. i loved every minute of it.
