London’s review published on Letterboxd:
The biggest take away from Adam Defines one hour netflix special is just how largely forgettable it is. Some of the jokes land, some the jokes don't. But nothing is laugh out loud funny and nothing is shaking your head bad. I think probably the best section of the special was him recounting his audition for Pitch Perfect, which just made me want to watch Pitch Perfect, and I only barely like Pitch Perfect.
Adam Devine is a funny guy some of the time. But I think he is probably better at more scripted things where he can interact and play off of others comedic strengths and weaknesses as well. I have seen much worse comedy specials, but Best Time of Our Lives was certainly not the best time of mine.
