Bones and All presents people as a culmination of their traumatic past searching for a glimpse at a murky future. Really enjoyed the delicacy it took when showing the all consuming desire of freedom and the burden it shoulders from generational grievances. The film bobs and weaves between the subject matters of exploration, trauma, and subsequent purpose, often going hand-in-hand with the impulse to survive. Chalamet and Russell kill. It’s about what I was expecting.

RRR succeeds the most as a rejuvenating slice of spectacle cinema. As my first Bollywood film, this hits about every mark you could hit with regards to any viewing experience ever and by the last hour, the outside world seemed to melt away as I, myself, melted into the world meticulously crafted by Rajamouli. A swift, elusive thriller that boasts Cruise’s final form as a movie star - you can’t get much better than this, truly. Each succeeding entry into this franchise shows Cruise one upping himself as an actor, entertainer and madman and I’m very, very excited for Dead Reckoning. Haven’t seen this since it came out in theaters and I’ll expect him to get better every time.

Anyways. His Ethan Hunt is a character that has…
