  What a gutsy film.

  It takes so many risks and they all pay off. I love the Coen brothers. I’m always blown away by their films somehow. Recently in school we’re somewhat kinda learning about the heroes journey and how most films follow a certain formula and so on. Personally I’m not a big fan of using a certain formula to make films by, but it seems to be a big success if done properly. But that’s what I love…

  This is one of those rare occasions where the film it’s self isn’t amazing, I mean it’s good, but what’s happening on screen is just so hard to not enjoy. I was pretty familiar with the story of this before every hearing about the movie, I really enjoyed the story. This was pretty high up on my watchlist and a buddy of mine just recommended it so I figured I’d check it out, and I’m glad I did.
