    PREPARING FOR PTA'S PHANTOM THREAD PART 4

    Remains a favorite up until this day. A fascinating character study and an incredible re-telling (of sorts) of the birth of Scientology, with themes of family, connection, and reason. Philip Seymour Hoffman will always be the greatest.

    Four lines are spoken in the entirety of this 40-minute short film. Still, nothing else had to be said. Elephant is simply one of the most thought-provoking films of all-time. Alan Clarke's last film is arguably his best. It will stay with me for months to come. I simply can not get that atmosphere out of my head. The wind blows, people are shot, and no one care. It's simply the elephant in the room.
