Welcome back to the divine Christine Baranski, the funny Julie Walters, and - in a touching cameo - Meryl Streep, plus Sophie's three dads, her granny (guess who - I won't spoil it), and Andy Garcia as we revisit the Greek island where Sophie is trying to do her mum proud with a reopening of the taverna, and Lily James shows us what young Donna got up to with her three beaus pre-pregnancy.
With Bjorn and Benny cameos, this is another run through Abba songs with a fun backdrop, a chance for all the cast to let their hair down and guts out, and for us to enjoy it.
Boo sucks if it's not your thing. For me it was just the ticket and in quieter moments it included two of my favourite songs from the Swedish quartet, so it's a thumbs up from me, even if the original ten years ago was tighter and had the lion's share of the hits.
