A likable crime thriller in which urbane Terence Morgan comes out of prison and sets up a business with twitchy photographer Donald Pleasence as the front for blackmail.
With two spies in the company, one an undercover policewoman and one planted by the local big shot (Harry H Corbett) he has his work cut out to remain openly respectable.
Good production values, a good score, and a sense of seedy kinkiness make this British feature worth watching.
Look out for Jackie Collins in an early bit part as one of the models.
