George Eliot (born Mary Ann Evans, 1819–1880) is one of the great writers of literature of the 19th century, and many of her books have been adapted for the screen.

Missing from Letterboxd: silent adaptations of Felix Holt, Adam Bede, and Daniel Deronda, a 1937 film of The Mill on the Floss, and a 1970 TV version of Daniel Deronda.
