i finally watched this because i was in need of a good cry
it left me empty and destroyed and i didn’t shed a single tear such was the void in me
rarely a movie this long makes me wish it would have gone on a little bit longer and then a little bit more after that.
With a subject matter that heavy, and with a run time that long I was surprised at how light and weightless this movie made me feel. The ending sequence was so fucking beautiful, I'll think about it for at least a week.
It's an unpretentious, deeply personal, beautifully shot piece of art.
Also, Sasha Lane owns my ass.
