This was a decent showcase for the martial artists and stunt performers in it. As a movie though, it has serious structural and pacing problems; I likely would’ve re-shot at least two scenes, and deleted another (depending on the coverage they got, and what was available from the cutting room floor). This film could have done with a lot less dialogue, it’s one thing if your “banter” isn’t funny, it’s quite another if it’s obnoxious, which is the case here. As a writer, Scott Adkins is one hell of a fighter — smile
