Nathan Zuckerman’s review published on Letterboxd:
Shot and directed with all the verve of a Criminal Minds-episode, and definitely falls down that Deadpool-trap, where it makes fun of the very thing it essentially is (in this case, overly safe legacy-quels).
Still, you have to admire its restraint in not playing Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves on the soundtrack every time Neve & Courtney show up. I wouldn't be able to.
Not the worst of this latest batch of fan-servicing stroke-offs, that medal goes to Afterlife, but if this is what we're shilling these days, it might be a great idea for me to pivot to theater or something.
