The thing with a film like this is that it attempts to tackle the premise of a Coen brothers atmosphere but all it achieves is mundanity which consumes the film in its entirety. The dialogue used in the film is ambitious and looks great when on paper, but when presented - in a comedic manner as it is written - it comes off as pretentious, at least in my eyes.

Dan Gilroy's directorial debut is all entertaining, nail-biting, funny and flat out great. I missed the last 11 minutes of it because of irrelevant matters, but what i saw certainly kept me on the edge of my seat.
Frankly, i would give this five and a half stars if there was such a thing.
