Less than an hour after my third watch of Good Time, I started it again just before bed. The fucking fourth.
This film is amazing, a true remark from the Safdie brothers who have both created such a dense yet loose trip miles away from any comfort you might feel the urge to need. It's a hard movie to talk about because it's super different - I can't believe it only consists of about 4 scenes, the very fact I'm calling them singular scenes rather than chapters is telling of how unified Connie's journey feels, 101 minutes that feels more like seconds. An acid classic with a pounding classic original soundtrack, I doubt Good Time (are you ready to have a good time?) will be forgotten any time soon.
