On second watch I was able to notice and appreciate just how much this narrative flips the slasher formula on its head and it’s so damn cool!
My theater was packed and my audience applauded like 6 times in the final act which was annoying because someone would always start the applause and it would build. By the time the movie finally reached the end someone started to applaud but I think everybody else collectively was like “nah my hands hurt now lmao” and it was very anticlimactic.
Movie was fantastic by the way.

Mesmerizing from beginning to end. Featured some of the coolest and most fascinating sequences I’ve seen in the last number of years. Leads to one of the most explosive third acts I’ve seen recently. Need to watch again to see if it gets that 5/5 cause I had a slightly distracting experience in theater but I can’t wait to watch again. (With subtitles)
