Film 5/21 - Inside Llewyn Davis
I thought this was a very interesting dissection of a man’s dreams and aspirations and his road toward achieving them. I love the cinematography in this, always dark and gloomy with a well-defined image and absent of color - it serves the story quite well.
I liked what the film has to say about talented people paired with their outlook of life and their overall attitude. The turn of events are non-conventional and I appreciated the script deviating from the usual turn-around we see in characters like these. Also, Oscar Isaac delivers a fantastic performance, not only in his acting but in his musicianship as well.
