the story was gripping and the actors were perfectly picked, however, I felt that sometimes the dialogues weren’t well written and the cgi was extremely underwhelming.

Frank Abagnale Jr. lived his best life and it shows. I love this movie so much and it’s now a favorite. Is it because Leonardo DiCaprio is the lead actor? We’ll never know. But seriously, he is so talented and his acting is top notch.

i was pleasantly surprised with how much i loved this film— not a single scene bored me. I was intrigued as where this is going and found the format of the movie extremely befitting of the story.
Side note : Jesse Eisenberg was outstanding and talks faster than I can think *applauds*

Zac did an incredible job at portraying Ted— a charismatic but extremely wicked, shockingly evil and vile person to the core. i really did enjoy this movie, but was slightly disappointed by the lack of ‘darkness’ that ought to have been captured.

watched this for Kiernan but it was just bad and with an overdone plot and unrealistic ending

  • Dumplin'

    Dumplin'

    ★★★

A decent film with a great message. Really liked the fact that it addressed unrealistic beauty standards while encouraging authenticity and self-love. Also, the fact that the third winner to the beauty pageant was not as ”slender,” like winners usually are required to be, made this movie even better. However, one complaint I have is the romance. Willodean (Dumplin’) and Bo’s relationship should’ve been fleshed out more, and made us, the audience, understand it— rather than rush it just to add a cherry on top and she got the guy yay.

  • Noah

    Noah

    ★★★★

This is obviously not the most accurate representatiom of Noah’s story (or character for that matter), however, i did enjoy it for what it is—a twisted, fictional take that has a somewhat factual base. One thing I did love about this film, was Noah’s Ark, which was so realistic in shape and structure as well as size.
