    Knock Knock

    ★★½

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

The event that caused John Wick to become a hitman - two harpies seduce and torture him with their deranged screeching.

Perhaps this film plays on my phobia of being robbed or murdered by a bedroom companion, but I found the first thirty minutes of the film unsettling and actually pretty interesting. There's then a comical sex scene and everything goes downhill from there. Screech, screech. Something, something. Pedo. Screech, screech. You're gunna die.

I still don't fully understand the succubis' motives. Is it the raped as a child trope? Not cool. Guess you can't expect more from a softcore torture porn efficianado.

    ★★

I don't understand why this film had to be so long, perhaps it needs to be to fit in all the advertisements that pay for it...

    Natural Born Killers

What the f--- am I watching? I’ve just finished viewing this film and throughout I kept asking myself this question. This film is a dark, trippy story straight from the cranium of Quentin Tarentino, so I’d expect nothing less. Surprisingly, he doesn’t direct though, Oliver Stone takes the reigns after Tarentino supposedly failed to bring his creature/creation to life, but you still get the feeling his fingerprints are all over this. I mean, this film is ultra-violent and constantly shifting.…
