Like a whimsical, potty-mouthed episode of Rugrats, The Florida Project captures the essence of childhood unlike any film I’ve seen before. While it's vibrant and charming, it never shys away from the intersections between innocence and the harsh reality of the world. Sean Baker has such a vivid care and understanding for his characters and the environments they occupy; it’s truly a pleasure to watch.
I’ve fallen in love with this film and I can’t get up.
