    Thoroughly comprehensive doc about a man’s unorthodox lifestyle, and everything he put on the line for his art. I’d love to find ways to watch some of his broadcasts/shorts. Really gives me the inspiration to mess around more with image and sound just for the sake of experimentation.

    This is a review of what I’ve seen, episodes I & II. 

    I’ve always had an affinity towards Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan. He always added the right amount of heart and playfulness when playing Obi -Wan in the prequels.     The Whale is really weird to me. Aronofsky’s directing is just sort of… confusing? I don’t know, there’s a lot wrong with this movie. For starters, the script feels awfully juvenile, making each character come off as an absurd reactionary. Every one of them holds some type of contrarian, immovable value that makes them all sound like whiny children when they’re in a room together.
