Tedious as hell but I think I (almost) get it, the point is to depict a monotonous, empty life changed for the better after the introduction of Elle Fanning -- which is pretty much my life story to be honest.

I love slow cinema, and when it's done right it can be so powerful, but this is just drawn out for the sake of it!
