okay so. only watched this because it's looking like it's gonna be nominated everywhere in 2 months and i wanted to get it out of the way now, so kudos to aaron sorkin (writer) for making me sort of enjoy a courtroom drama, even if aaron sorkin (director) was meh. I wanted to crack eddie redmayne in his weirdly-accented mouth every time he was on screen and the ending.... yikes yikes yikes. the script still had some total bangers tho.
also can't wait to recommend this to my grandfather since he's a mark rylance fan, and then we can argue about it afterwards given i'm on the sacha baron cohen end of the political spectrum and he once uttered the words "nixon was a good american president aside from watergate"
