    Hacksaw Ridge

The Wilhelm Scream in an anti war movie... sorry guys.
The movie is a cinematic masterpiece  but the intensity of pathos and the final scenes ruined it for me.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Bad guy does bad things because he is bad. Dies in the end.

    Wonderfully slow.

    Live is live.
This is not even close. But as close as a movie can get.

    TRON: Legacy

Very convincing style, great sound mixing and soundtrack.
    Storywise quite a disappointment.

    Kubo and the Two Strings

Watched it with the kids. Visually very impressive. Very entertaining family movie if your kids can handle some darker scene with flying witches.

  • Interstellar

Just gets better with every rewatch.

  • Fury

I watched this mainly because it was on of the few Prime UHD films on Amazon Video. What started as an emotional war movie with a focus on all the dirty faces of war turned into a mindless action movie cliche showdown. Two genres that should not get mixed up.

1 point for each Tom Hardy.
    1 for Emily Browning.

    -0.5 for the rest.

    Inside Llewyn Davis

The slowest and most atmospheric Coen Brothers Movie. A movie for a certain mood.

Atomic: Living in Dread and Promise

The movie did not quite get me. But the soundtrack by mogwai (performed live in Berlin) was a blast!

  • Dune

    3 stars, ...because it's a classic.
