Knives Out was and is still so, so good, and the fact that it still holds up as well as it did three years ago only serves to cement the fact that Rian Johnson took its potential and all it had to offer and set it ablaze with Glass Onion. Sorry Rian, it looks like succumbing to the modern Hollywood siren lure of turning your film into a crude imitation of a cash cow really only had one sure outcome: in disaster and flames.

Devastatingly sobering. Exquisite manouevre with the sound design and editing, particularly with the end credits -- magnificent groundwork laid by Nathan Larson's scoring, and brilliant casting which absolutely flourished under Chandor's direction.

Never fear this is not a re-log of this questionable specimen of a film but instead a recorded moment of recollection of its single redeeming feature: the (surprising) fleeting Philip Glass namedrop and its (even more surprising) progenitor, Joseph Gordon Levitt's voice as the island's majestic hourly [dong]. One small step for the bad films of the world, one giant leap for the JGL porno cinematic universe❤️

Quaint little film!! Bit slow in pacing but I reckon that's what adds to its charm.. Special shoutout to the track motif that plays whenever they're investigating it was the cherry on top of an already endearing performance from the cast❤️

I don't know how enthused i am about the way more and more films seem to be infusing every detail about modern culture into their plots and inevitably churning out caricatures that then again end up as magnifiers that foreground the ludicrosity of the world we live in today. Daniel Craig and Janelle Monáe you have my heart though I adore the way their portrayals bounced seamlessly off one another it was like spectating the world's most intriguing tennis match once the plot got going mwah love to Hugh Grant and his cheeky apron too xoxoxo

Ummm.. The award goes to most underwhelming 22$ spent ever...

Love love LOVE. Soundtrack 2 die for visuals 2 live for and an inexplicable sense of contentment i adore this film so soooo much. I want 2 live forever! Absolutely harrowing. Tennant strikes a terrifying character as Des, and his presence alone cements the entire atmosphere of the miniseries. Overall, brilliant performances and execution from the cast and crew.

Fiennes and ATJ made this entire film!!!!!!!!!! & w the issue of hoult's character.. it's just a character.. it's just a character ........... (UTTER LACK OF COHESION!) Anyway. Notes from alex & i: cldve done a lot better w a smidgen of cannibalism, but overall this film was deliciously delusional x

I neeeed need need to stop picking movies that make me bawl uncontrollably. Absolutely heartwrenching performance from Bullock, and a thousand tributes to Zimmer and Fleming for the stunning score and beautiful synthesis of "Sacrifice" with Katie's piano cover of EIIRP.
