Really nostalgic re-watch for me. I'd forgotten how great this is and what a cast! Robert Prosky is so good as "The Judge". Evil personified.
This is more Greek myth than a baseball movie and that’s a good thing. It manages to avoid the eye rolling and hokey stuff that often shows up in sports movies.
