It's not even a fun hate-watch. It's boring most of the time. The ending saves it a bit but its just not enough. And I feel this way even if I saw the Special Edition version. The extra half hour doesn't do much.

I am a little upset that it didn't keep my attention the whole run-through and because of that, the effect of the end was a bit diminished. Even so the final act was excellent and I was invested all the way.
