Boyhood 2014
The most sincere expression of family, childhood and life. It is a joy to watch, a singular experience that I didn't know this medium was capable of. The ultimate coming-of-age movie and one that will be regarded as one of the best films ever made in the future. More than anything, this film is honesty personified, it doesn't try to trick, it doesn't try to hide anything from you, it doesn't throw the usual clichées at you. No tricks, just pure, unaltered narrative. You simply can't dislike this movie.

The Matrix 1999
Possibly the first time I've seen this in, I dunno, ten years. I almost forgot how well-crafted, interesting, innovative and fun it is. Wow. It was better than watching it the first time, I swear. And yeah, I was, like, seven back then.
