Ethan Inglis’s review published on Letterboxd:
People play off the age difference between Travis and Jane as like a sign this film is dated/bad, but the film fully informs us that she was too young for him. Also to those who criticize Travis for his flaws and terrible behavior: THAT IS THE POINT. Anyway, this film makes me cry like nothing else so... I'll be moving on to the poem.
The child has aged so much
By the time the wanderer comes home.
Stories of the past, memories in a photo album,
The world captured by a Super 8.
Living without life, without love.
The land of the sun and all signs fade away.
If we could travel anywhere,
Would we still be here?
