    Jeez, another Robert Altman film I didn't like and again I was expecting to really like this one. This story is just not for me. While I can appreciate the performances here are good, there's little about their characters that are redeeming with the minor exception of pre-coma Sissy Spacek. The ending was weird, out of place and with little set-up beforehand.

    A pretty decent Predator film which I'm very surprised by. The trailer made it look like pure garbage, especially with the distracting modern American accents - thankfully a full Comanche dub was available which I pounced on.

    I love the concept of Comanche hunters facing off against the ultimate hunter - just a great idea. Not sure if I would rate it better than the Adrian Brody Predator film, I'll need some time to sit on it and see if…

    What i appreciate most about Cronenberg's work is despite often having very surreal stories, his narrative structure is usually quite conventional.
