It just didn't quite fit together and instead felt like a lot of cool visual ideas strung together by a very weak/loose plot. I couldn't make sense of the ending... maybe I'm an idiot but, was she the mother the whole time? Was all the Mennonite shit fake? Or did she only realize she was the mother when she went down to the cave place? Is this actually a remake of mother!? Is that why the wigs look so bad? I did love when that devil thing came out and started exploding heads tho, that was wild.

I will probably brag forever about the fact that I instantly knew it was Tilda Swinton playing the old man though. Sorry in advance.
