I love that there is another horror film that explores Dutch folklore, and even more so than Moloch this feels very reminiscent of The Witch.
I wish this had a little more time to explore. I think the best parts are when the movie slows down, and there are visually very striking sequences which make it clear where the director's strengths are. Wonder Woman 2017
I don’t know why but I can’t hate this movie despite its best efforts to be so bad.
Gadot is a terrible actress. The whole villain monologue at the end… I mean they are standing in the middle of the Belgian wastelands of WWI, “they’re so much more” doesn’t really cut it. I’m team Ares.
Don’t even get me started on the accents and the languages, those are just pure camp. I like Chris Pine, why is he always in terrible movies?
