Green Room ★★★★½

So to exercise my writing I'm going to start reviewing films I've seen this year.

Let's start with the first I logged in Letterboxd. I actually didn't discover this app until like July, but how could I forget to log this masterpiece?

This is an action-horror study on the idea of learned hatred.
It's got punk rock, gore,  and John Carpenter influence, three things that always make a movie stand out to me. Not for the faint of heart, but Green Room is definitely worth a watch, and probably a rewatch.

Also worth noting that this is yet more evidence Anton Yelchin had the makings of greatness. Rest in peace.
