“Do I look normal momma?”
Effortlessly beautiful and a second watch allowed me to catch a few more details and simultaneously worry about them less. The characters, the reveals, the horror and the visuals are all engrossing in a way that adds up to a complete experience, even if the themes are delivered pretty straight and there are a few plot details that leave more to be desired.

Packed with action as Jackie evades his forever-rivals (angry men in oversized suits) through rounds of familiar stunt setups. Mr. Nice Guy plays more like a best of compilation that doesn’t quite add up to the sun if it’s parts until the climax featuring a drug lord compound and a 2-story dump truck driven by none other than the Nice Guy™ himself. Who knew we were going full Bad Boys 2 in this one?
Hit play on a whim and the opening jewelry heist was too bat-shit-80s to turn away. That was a fully movie unto itself—action, explosions, emotional stakes and all. The villainous duo is on another level in this one: Tampopo gangsters meets Natural Born Killers. Alongside some solid, if unmemorable lead performances, In The Line of Duty 3 keeps the intensity going for the full runtime to make the whole thing a surprising and satisfying find.

Fun and doesn't take itself too seriously in all the right ways. Well acted and smart, my only major grievance is that Ronan was forgettable and disposable as a villain. Glad I caught it a second time in theaters to get over the hype.
