This movie is a mixed bag for everyone it seems. Some people HATE it and some people LOVE it but there's also a group of people who loved parts of it and disliked other parts. I seem to be in the minority of people who enjoy Zack Snyders films including Watchmen which is amazing in my opinion. This movie is unbalanced, dark, and overall all over the place. Things happen that are too convient and lazy foreshadowing for future films. I knew these weren't the characters in the comics but were more of Snyders vision and I think that's what loses a lot of people especially those who love the comics. With a lot of substance gone the movie does suffer BUT in return I still enjoyed many aspects very much. Ben Affleck as Batman was completely a show stealer and I enjoyed Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. And Jeremy Irons as Alfred for the 5 total minutes he's onscreen is brilliant. The cinematography is gorgeous and Hans Zimmers and Junkie XLs score worked extremely well and definitely one of the best aspects of the movie. Overall there's big flaws throughout but evens the playing field with some GREAT scenes that really push the movie over for me. Although people might not like this movie, I think DC has what it takes to make a great follow up Batman solo film for the future.
