Manny Liotta🍒’s review published on Letterboxd:
De Palmas vision of a hazy, tormented coming of age film wrapped up in tinsel, stars, glitter, fire, rage, hatred, confusion, and isolation ages like fine wine. I’m actually kinda speechless on how much this movie FUCKED. Sissy Spacek is light years ahead of gorgeousnesses and being purely terrifying simultaneously. There’s so much I could say but I just can’t. From the impeccable split screen therapeutic finale to the camera movements and swift as succulent editing, this shot up on one of my favorites first watches ever. Fuckin’ wow.
