I'll be honest, the movie that the trailers promised looked much worse than what we actually got. I'm glad they cut all the Spider-Man references and just let this movie be its own thing for most of the time. Granted, what it is is still a very forgettable experience, but it could've been painful and it really wasn't.
The entire film is just fades away from your memory once it's over. Nothing about it infuriated me (well, one thing did, but I'll get to that later), and some of it even entertained me. But when it was all done, I fell like I just sat through a sped up version of something that was meant to be much longer. Glad it wasn't, though.
Jared Leto was fine honestly, but Matt Smith was a fucking joy to watch. Unlike Leto, he's not taking his role seriously at all. Instead, he chooses to just have as much fun as possible. He practically single handedly saves this movie from being boring and turns into to something you can at least laugh at. Every time his Voldemort snapchat filter popped up the film became a masterpiece. He even starts dancing. Twice!
It's bad, but I've seen worse. The one thing that is truly godawful are the post-credit scenes. The post-credit scenes are some of the worst things I've ever seen. They feel like they were put together in a couple of minutes. They make no sense and I hated them.
