Felipe’s review published on Letterboxd:
The first half is very boring. Mainly just uninteresting exposition and little inverting.
The second half is much better, but unfortunately, the story throughout the whole movie is extremely uninteresting, the characters (except maybe Neil) are boring and the villain is just a straight up cartoon. And I know it's because of IMAX, but the changing aspect ratio annoys the shit out of me.
The inverted action scenes are awesome, but I had very little emotional investment in this movie.
I did like it, but purely based on its action.
"Don't try to understand it. Feel it". Well, I neither understand it or feel it, but at least it looked cool.
In the end, it was just okay.
