McFly 🎥’s review published on Letterboxd:
Okay, I get it.
Jojo Rabbit is beautifully shot, originality shines throughout the film, Taika Waititi's craftsmanship and good cast. Ironically, I just don't see what others see. I don't feel what others feel. This isn't my first rodeo with acclaimed work that I quite don't comprehend. The comedic elements, satire and Waititi's fantasy elements doesn't translate on-the-screen. Pretentious stuff. Strangled rabbit. Delusional boy. Gay Nazi. Adolf Shitler. No laughs, nothing. I felt bored.
