    There are three timelines intercut in this audiovisual assault from the mind of Christopher Nolan and the pages of history. That gives it a puzzle element, although there is little satisfaction in the pieces coming together.

    A man foundering as a salesman finds himself at ground zero of the American fast food revolution. He then re-forges himself in a heroic mold as the founder, much to the original founders' chagrin.

    This movie isn't afraid to show how Ray Kroc was a dick. It probably also sells his salesman skills a bit short. I have a number of issues with how things were dramatized in this film, but I like the chutzpah of having an all-American anti-hero at the center. As Shakespeare knew, Iago is the more interesting character.
