I still have a knot in my throat. A crescendo journey with twists and turns. Dolan is not afraid to exaggerate. The colors, the styling, the music and the surreal moments that make us feel part of the real world. It takes advantage of the use of shots to the fullest, touching our senses, beyond the scenes and interpretations that face it. At no time did I feel forced. First movie I watch from Lucrecia Martel and wow. Little by little, I felt like I was blending in slowly into their enviroments. The narrative happened so horizontally and simple. The stories are there, in the decline of wealth, in the struggle of a middle class family and in a daily verbal violence to a domestic worker. It left me some gaps but not enough to frustrate me.
