I have decidedly mixed feelings about this continuities take on peter parker. Mysterio, on the other hand, is awesome. Like most MCU movies, I enjoyed it, there's a lot of frustrating stuff, a handful of awesome things that carry the film across the finish line, and is overall, solid. Marvel is nothing if not consistent in their mildly fun dominion over the film industry. It does, though, feel like they made a superhero movie where they painted a spider-man skin on it, rather than making something that really *feels* like a Spider-Man film, but I also care way too much about Spider-Man anyway, so take it with a grain of salt that this take on Peter Parker isn't my favorite (even if Tom Holland is wonderful).
